Tribal council primary election results

PABLO — Primary elections for tribal council seats were held across the Flathead Reservation on Nov. 2, and official results were released on Wednesday night.

Several races were close, with over 40 total candidates crowding the ballot. Only the top two candidates from each race will advance to the general election, set to be held Dec. 14.

A recount will be conducted to determine the winners of the Elmo primary, where only two votes separated the second- and third-place finishers. Results for the top five candidates in each district are listed below. (Incumbents indicated by asterisks.)
