Community notes

A free dinner will be hosted by Polson Presbyterian Church for the March Friendship Table Dinner.

The free event is open to the public and will start at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 9, at 301 Fourth Ave. East, Polson.

The OíRonan 29th Annual St. Patrickís Day Parade will start at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17.

For those participating in the parade, meet behind St. Luke Community Healthcare in Ronan at 5:15 p.m.

North Lake County Public Library will host a meeting of the Polson Amateur Astronomy club at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 17. Speaker Sydney Weber will be presenting remotely on the subject of radiation encountered during space travel and how it affects memory and learning. Weber is a neuroscientist at the Oregon Health and Science University. For more information, call (406) 883-8225.
